Summer is finally here the season of festivals, terrace parties, free parties and making the most of the extra hours of daylight. Those cold dark damp nights a fading memory. Here at Dead Famous records we are especially looking forward to a summer of banging techno releases from some of the hottest producers aroundThis month sees two techno EP's to get the ball rolling.
First up it gives us great pleasure here at Dead Famous to have a two track EP from UK rising techno stars Autophase. After hooking up in 2006 the Manchester boys have had rapidly amassed an itinerary of releases and remixes, receiving support from international headlining acts as wide ranging as John Digweed, Audiojack, Nick Warren,Freeform Five and Eddie Halliwell. Further releases on King Unique's (CURFEW) and Elite Force's (U&A) labels as well as Global Underground have cemented the boys production qualities and have been a firm favorite in label owners the Robosapiens sets.
With increasing exposure from their productions the boys have been destroying dance floors with their in demand DJ sets from Tribal Sessions Sankeys in Manchester to having just been announced for this years Creamfields http://www.creamfields.com/lineup/sunday/ plus playing www.gottwood.co.uk.
Drawing influence from the entire spectrum of electronic dance genres "Goodbye Peregrine St" / Hello Boston St certainly don't disappoint with their twisted rhythms driving bass interfaced with melodic riffs and cheeky edits. The level of production is the high standard we have come to expect from the boys. Both tracks offer something different and i am sure you will agree start our summer of techno off perfectly.
Dead Famous records makes no apologies for bringing the high energy sounds of Autophase to the dance floor.
