BREAK THE BOX

Break The Box was formed in 2006 by producer, musician and DJ Luigi Barone. Comes from Sicily Italy the Dj started working on tracks producing trip hop and downbeat in 1999 and enjoyed success as CTlab and The Solbaron, performing alongside Howie B, Daddy G (Massive Attack), Rennie Pilgrem, Carl Craig and many others. Playing such prestigious clubs and festivals as Arezzo Wave, Elettrowave, Zo (CT, resident dj 2003), MercatiGenerali (CT), Taxi Driver (CT), Tenax (Fi) Ragno D'oro (Mi), Xplosiva (To), Distorsonie (Bo), Terrazzamare (Jesolo, VE) Rolling Stone (MI), Platform (Athen). Gaining respect playing the Italian and European festival circuit by 2004 the boy had releases with Record Kicks (MI). Kiver (MI / TO), and Pulver Records (Germany). Heavily influenced by the nu school breaks sound emerging with the guy DJing alongside the likes of Rennie Pilgrem, Loes Lee and Italy's own 5th Suite the guy once again got back in the studio and Break The Box was formed. The results are amazing Break The Box have their very own sound from tech madness to pure unadulterated funk.
